TIME TO THRIVE HRC CONFERENCE // DALLAS

Guess what! Last weekend I checked something huge off of my bucket list….working with the Human Rights Campaign. I spent the weekend photographing their Time to Thrive conference at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas. #TimeToThrive is an annual national conference to promote safety, inclusion and well-being for LGBTQ youth everywhere. I had such an inspiring weekend hearing the stories of Bob Harper, Jazz Jennings, John Quinones, Nicholas Ferroni, Betty DeGeneres, Brendan Jordan, The Matthew Shepard Foundation, Raymond Braun, Julián Castro, Secretary, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; Kenneth Cole transgender supermodel Andreja Pejić, and MANY more. Hearing their stories and the work that they are doing to make this world a better place had a lot of us in tears. Being there in that moment was confirmation that I am right where I am supposed to be. Doing EXACTLY what I need to be doing.
